Trigonometric identities --> Final part ......
Now let's end the trigonometry chapter by covering the last topic that is Trigonometric Identities ......
It includes only 3 identities and it is totally different from the algebraic identities so let's see the trigonometric identities which help to proof the expressions....
These above are the identities of trigonometry now it's time for some tricks to learn these identities easily.....
I hope these tricks will be helpful to remember the Identities.......
And also let me share the relationship between the entities with respect to angle......
Sin (90 - A) = Cos A Cos (90 - A) = Sin A
Cosec (90 - A) = Sec A Sec (90 - A) = Cosec A
Tan (90 - A) = Cot A Cot (90 - A) = Tan A
With this blog the basic trigonometry is over and let's wind up this by some questions....
Questions:
1. Express the trigonometric ratios sin A, sec A and tan A in terms of cot A
2. Evaluate: sin 25° cos 65° + cos 25° sin 65°
3. What is the value of 9 sec² A – 9 tan² A
4. Prove that
(sin A + cosec A)² + (cos A + sec A)² =
7 + tan² A +cot² A
5. Prove that
sec A (1 – sin A)(sec A + tan A) = 1
6. Find the value of
Cos 38° Cos 52° – Sin 38° Sin 52° = ?
7. Evaluate : (sec A + tan A) (1 – sin A)
Must do these questions by using all formulas related to trigonometry (including previous blog) so that your concept of trigonometry will be clear ......
